Sustainable Lakewood

neighborhood planning unit Y

Neighborhood Planning Unit Y (NPU-Y) is one of twenty-five neighborhood units  in Atlanta led by a citizen advisory council.  The system began in 1974 to allow for citizens' input in the city's Comprehensive Development Plan and for them to receive information about the city's government functions. Located just minutes away from downtown, our area is made up of the following communities:
  • Amal Heights
  • Betmar Lavilla
  • Chosewood Park
  • Englewood Manor
  • High Point
  • Joyland
  • Lakewood Heights
  • Park Place South
  • South Atlanta
  • Villages at Carver
