Sustainable Lakewood

Volunteers are needed!


Residential Rezoning Team

Sustainable Lakewood is looking to assemble a group of committed, community members to review and complete the tasks needed for the residential rezoning requirements. If you or someone you know would be interested in assisting, please contact Tina Arnold at tina@sustainablelakewood.org.

The team will need the following members:

  • Lakewood Height residents 
  • a real estate agent
  • a professional knowledgeable in city planning and building codes
  • a LEED accredited professional
  • an architect
  • an environmentalist​


​​​Home Restoration Project

Volunteers meet once a week every other Sunday. If you or someone you know would be interested in assisting this project, please contact Tina Arnold at tina@sustainablelakewood.org.

  • plumber : install fixtures and hot water heater 
  • roofer : replace 11 squares of shingles on roof 


​​​Children's Community Garden

Volunteers meet once a month from November through February to help maintain our youth's garden. If you or someone you know would be interested in assisting with this project, please contact Tina Arnold at tina@sustainablelakewood.org.

Tasks will include:
  • pulling weeds
  • overwintering garden beds
  • cutting grass as needed

Sustainable Lakewood has accomplished most of its work with the sole support of volunteers. Help us continue that proud tradition and join our mission! POSITION OPENINGS
  • Senior Nonprofit Accountant
             Responsibilities consist of tax filing, nonprofit accounting, auditing and End-of-Grant reports.

  • Construction Project Manger
              Responsibilities consist of managing project volunteers, overseeing contractors and construction materials management. 

  • Development & Fundraising Coordinator
              Responsibilities consist of researching and coordinating fundraising opportunities, managing donations, maintaining donor list and relationships,                             securing sponsorship as well as grant research and writing.

  • Event Planner
              Responsibilities consist of planning  and overseeing events as needed throughout the year.

  • Graphic Designer
              Responsibilities consist of designs for brochures, cards, flyers, posters, T-shirts and  logos as needed.
